ASN Kidney Health Guidance: Today, Tomorrow, and Beyond

October 26, 2024 | 02:00 PM - 04:00 PM

Location: Room 8, Convention Center

Session Description

In 2024, with a change in long-standing policy, ASN initiated the development and publication of Kidney Health Guidance (KHG). ASN KHG is intended to assist clinicians with the interpretation and integration of evolving scientific evidence into practice by addressing key questions facing the kidney care team. Obesity and Kidney Diseases is the first guidance topic, which will likely transform kidney care and serve as the foundational pathway for the millions of Americans living with both obesity and kidney diseases.

The expert panel includes: David H. Ellison, MD, FASN; HollyJ. Kramer, MD, MPH; Kathleen D. Liu, MD, PhD, FASN; T. Alp Ikizler, MD, FASN; Sarah L. Sampsel, MPH; and John Ortiz, PhD.

Note: Continuing education credits are not being offered for this activity.
