Clinical Practice Session
Molecular Kidney Pathology Rounds
October 24, 2024 | 02:00 PM - 04:00 PM
Location: Room 1, Convention Center
Session Description
Genetic studies such as targeted and whole-exome sequencing are becoming more readily available. Integrating these results with histopathologic and morphometric findings holds promise to inform clinical diagnostic, prognostic, and theragnostic decisions.
Learning Objective(s)
- Explain the scope of clinical molecular testing tools and integrate genetic studies with histomorphologic assessment
- Describe the integration of molecular testing tools with pathology to inform diagnosis and prognosis
- Describe the integration of molecular testing tools with pathology to make therapeutic decisions
- At the conclusion of the session the participant will appreciate the significance of integrating molecular testing tools with pathology to make therapeutic decisions.
Learning Pathway(s)
- Pathology
- Genetic Diseases and Development
