Kidney Week 2025: International Attendee Visa Information

I need a letter in order to obtain a visa. Who do I contact?

Please click here to produce an invitation letter.

How do I obtain a travel visa?

Attending Kidney Week can require a visa for non-US citizens. The exact requirements to obtain a visa vary by country and wait times may take weeks or months. ASN strongly urges all international travelers to begin the visa application process as soon as possible. For more information on US visas, please click here.

Certain U.S. embassies and consulates may require a face-to-face interview to obtain a travel visa. You do not need to be registered for Kidney Week in order to schedule an interview, however, the appointment itself should take place after registering for Kidney Week. For registration dates, please refer to the Kidney Week 2025 important dates page.

For assistance in selecting a Visa category and initiating the Visa application process, you can visit the US Department of State website.

Visa Waiver Program
The Visa Waiver Program (VWP) enables most citizens or nationals of participating countries to travel to the United States for tourism or business for stays of 90 days or less without obtaining a visa. For information on participating countries and requirements, please click here.

Who do I contact for International Group assistance?
