Session Description
People with obesity have reduced access to transplantation. Older and frail transplant recipients have poor outcomes after transplantation. This session covers surgical management and approaches and reviews post-transplant kidney outcomes in patients with obesity. The effects of frailty and therapeutic interventions to address frailty in older kidney transplant candidates are discussed.
