ASN provides a limited number of accredited registered media with advanced access to embargoed content. Eligible journalists and registration criteria include:

Staff Media

1) Letter of assignment on official letterhead from an editor/publisher at an accredited news organization indicating he/she is covering kidney health issues for the purposes of generating editorial reportage for the organization. 2) Three bylined medical articles demonstrating original, editorial news coverage.

Freelance Media

1) Proof of current membership in the National Association of Science Writers (a copy of a current NASW membership card) or a letter of assignment on official letterhead from an editor/publisher at an accredited news organization indicating he/she is covering kidney health issues for the purposes of generating editorial reportage for the organization. 2) Three bylined medical articles demonstrating original, editorial news coverage.

Online Media, Medical Publishing Companies, Health Care Societies and Associations, and University Publication Representatives

Instructions for Applying for ASN Kidney Week 2024 Media Credentials

ASN Kidney Week, the world's premier nephrology meeting, will bring together the top kidney health professionals in San Diego, CA, to share cutting-edge research and the latest developments in kidney health during Kidney Week 2024 , October 23-27.

Kidney Week 2024 will feature two late-breaking clinical trial oral sessions, 3,000+ posters, 150+ sessions, 700+ expert faculty, 17 learning pathways, up to 75 CME/CNE/CPE credits and MOC points, 100+ education sessions including 500+ expert faculty, and 3,000+ scientific posters.
