Examine the mental health challenges of kidney professionals practicing during the COVID-19 pandemic and explore resources and techniques that will support their mental health.

Presenters will:

  • Review a mental health resource (presenter: Glenda Harbert, RN - ASN)
  • Discuss commonalities of the emotional toll of COVID-19 on patients and staff (presenters: Daniel Cukor, PhD - The Rogosin Institute and Glenda V. Roberts – University of Washington)
  • Explain the Ask-Tell-Ask approach to learn patient treatment preferences during pandemics (presenter: Woody Moss, MD, FACP, FAAHPM - West Virginia University School of Medicine)
