Advances in Research Conference Early Program Travel Support Application
Applications will open on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. The application deadline is Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. EDT.
The Advances in Research Conference: Generative AI in Kidney Disease Research and Management will be held on November 5, 2025, at ASN Kidney Week in Houston, TX. This Early Program explores the use of generative AI in the analysis of large-scale molecular omics data, enhancing clinical trial design and patient enrollment, as well as translating research into clinical practice. Travel award recipients receive $1,500 in travel support and complimentary registration to the Early Program course. Travel award recipients must also register for and attend the Annual Meeting at ASN Kidney Week.
Please note this program is only held in person. By accepting a spot in this program, participants agree to abide by all Health and Safety protocols as set forth by ASN.
Eligibility
To receive an award, a recipient must:
- Be a current trainee member (Student/Resident or Fellow member type) of ASN as of July 1, 2025.
- Not serve as faculty for any ASN Early Program in 2025.
Application
To apply, a candidate must:
- Log into the application using an ASN ID.
- Complete the information section of the application. Any demographic data provided by the applicant will be removed prior to review by the application reviewers and will not impact funding decisions.
- Complete a 200-word essay.
- Upload a CV.
A CV must be submitted as part of the online application. Applications received without CVs will not be processed.
Deadline: Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. EDT.
NOTE: Travel support applicants may apply to any and all travel support opportunities (if eligible); however, only one award will be given per person. All applicants will be notified within eight weeks of the application deadline.
