Course Description
This program showcases cutting-edge advances in gene therapy, genome and epigenome editing, and RNA-based therapeutics. Lectures highlight recent technological advances, the current toolbox available to clinicians, and major clinical breakthroughs, with an eye toward potential application to the treatment of kidney diseases.
ASN designates this live course for a maximum of 6.50 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Course Objective(s)
Upon completion of this program, the participant will be able to: 1) describe state-of-the-art genome editing and RNA-based therapeutics technology; 2) discuss the potential clinical application of genome editing for kidney-related diseases; and 3) discuss the potential clinical application of RNA-based drugs for common kidney diseases.
