Stephen J. Tomlanovich, MD, BRCU Faculty

Stephen J. Tomlanovich, MD, is a graduate of University of Notre Dame and University of Michigan, completed his residency at Henry Ford Hospital, and a nephrology fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine. He is a Professor of Medicine, Medical Director of Renal Transplant Service, and UNOS Transplant Physician at the University of California, San Francisco, as well as the Medical Director at Kaiser Foundation Hospital. Dr. Tomlanovich has 26 years of experience in the care of renal transplant patients, before, during and after transplantation, and has acquired extensive experience in clinical trials involving kidney transplant patients, particularly in the area of new immunosuppressive drugs and drug regimens.
