Meyeon Park, MD, FASN, BRCU Faculty

Meyeon Park, MD, FASN, is a nephrologist and clinical researcher at the University of California, San Francisco. Her research focuses on lifestyle risk factors in individuals with polycystic kidney disease and other genetic conditions as well as kidney transplant recipients.
Dr. Park is interested in quality of care and ameliorating disease progression in these groups, as well as in more general populations with CKD. She is the principal investigator of the Cardiovascular Risk After Kidney Transplantation (CARAKTER) cohort at UCSF, which is a biorepository and clinical database of individuals who have undergone kidney transplants at UCSF since 2015. She is co-principal investigator of the UCSF Clinical Center for the NIH-NIDDK Long-term Kidney Transplantation Outcomes Network (APOLLO) Consortium and is also the medical director of the UCSF Polycystic Kidney Disease Center of Excellence.
