CME Mission Statement
The American Society of Nephrology’s mission related to continuing medical education emphasizes cutting edge developments in those areas of science that are relevant to nephrology, which are to be highlighted and promulgated for our basic and clinical investigators. Our educational purposes include activities addressing the needs of scientists and clinicians. Central to the continuing education of practicing nephrologists is the translation of new scientific information into useful bedside approaches to patient care and the presentation of timely, in-depth reviews covering general nephrology, hypertension, dialysis, and transplantation. Integrating science with clinical nephrology should provide patients with the highest quality of care.
